Welcome to the virtual home of North Star Music Café! We are a cafe, coffee shop and music venue on Munjoy Hill in Portland, Maine.  We opened our doors in early April, 2007.

Owners Kim Anderson and Anna Maria Tocci have created a warm, comfortable space for the neighborhood and the larger Portland community.  We offer fair trade beverages, healthy fare, and a fine selection of local beer and wine. North Star Music Café is a place where you can come sink into a comfy couch with a latte or a cup of herbal tea and your laptop, use the free wi-fi, wander around and look at the local art on the walls, or grab and beer and see some of the area’s best acoustic performers.
